SPM unveils its 2019 colors

This is undoubtedly one of the images that we will remember from this 2019 presentation of the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team. Three DW12 – Hondas, flanked by numbers 5, 6 and 7 were on stage when unveiling the Arrow Electronics livery, named after the title sponsor confirmed yesterday in Denver (Colorado).

Three cars, two of the holders Marcus Ericsson and James Hinchcliffe, but also one for Robert Wickens, the Canadian continuing his convalescence after his dramatic accident in Pocono last August, which left him with a serious injury to his spine and spinal cord.

“The DW12 – Honda No. 6 was there to signal that the team had the car ready and available for the Canadian as soon as he is fit and wishes to resume racing. » specifies SPM. A great proof of support from Sam Schmidt's structure towards his driver, who had impressed in the first part of the season, he who started in IndyCar in 2018.

SPM will also still be allied with Meyer Shank Racing to operate Jack Harvey's car in 2019 in the IndyCar Series.
