Stoffel Vandoorne loses his pole to Antonio Félix da Costa in Valencia

Rebound a little less than an hour before the start of the first Valencia race in Formula E. Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes), author of the pole in qualifying this morning, lost the benefit of his performance after an infraction of the regulations, concerning the tires mounted on his car.

The number written on the tires did not correspond to either of the two declared in the technical passport before the Spanish event, thus contravening article 3.2 of the technical regulations and articles 25.3 and 25.6 of the sporting regulations, as well as bulletin n°1 of the Valencia ePrix.

In fact, Stoffel Vandoorne will be demoted to the back of the grid, offering pole position to Antonio Félix da Costa (DS Techeetah) for race 1 which will start shortly after 15 p.m.
