Tests: Beckmann dominates afternoon session

Best time of the afternoon session, David Beckmann (Charouz Racing System) concluded the first of three days of pre-season testing at the top of the timesheet with a time of 1'42. The rookie was well ahead of the two ART Grand Prix drivers Christian Lundgaard (+844 »0) and Theo Pourchaire, which are held in 36 thousandths.

Felipe Drugovich (UNI-Virtuosi), who led the session for a long time, finally finished 4th, ahead of Jüri Vips (Hitech) and Oscar piastri (Prema). After setting the best time of the morning, Dan Ticktum (Carlin) did not set a fast lap, preferring to work on development with Carlin. Tuesday's two sessions will take place at the same times as Monday: from 7 to 10 a.m. French time and from 12 to 15 p.m. in the afternoon.
