Théo Pourchaire in F2 with ART Grand Prix

A few months after brilliantly winning the honorary title of FIA vice-champion F3 for its very first year in the category, Theo Pourchaire will continue its ascent of the pyramid of car on the upper floor. The French will indeed evolve in Formula 2 in 2021, within an ART Grand Prix team which allowed him to shine in 2020.

“I’m super happy to move into F2 while staying at ART, Théo told us. I really wanted to continue with them, and they wanted to keep me, so it made sense to continue together. ART Grand Prix is one of the best teams and above all, I don’t forget that they trusted me in F3 even though I came from F4.”

Although he will be competing in his first full season in Formula 2, the Habs discovered the category at the end of the season by participating in the last two rounds with the HWA Racelab team. An experience which allowed Théo to learn a lot about the category and which should allow him to more easily understand his adaptation to F2.

Théo is in any case the first driver to be announced at ART Grand Prix in F2 for 2021. He will be back in the car for pre-season testing from March 9 to 11 in Bahrain, before the first round of the season, also in Sakhir, the weekend of March 28.
