Théo Pourchaire: “Super excited to drive in F2”

How do you view your beginnings in F2 at 17 years old ?

I'm super super excited about racing in F2. Even if I'm a little apprehensive about learning the car, which I'm going to discover on Friday. There will be a lot of new things to deal with, but I'm not too worried.

Why play these last two rounds?

To gain as much experience as possible because apart from the three days of testing at the end of the season and the three others planned before the next one, I would have only had six days of driving, which is not a lot. HWA Racelab had a free seat and I thank them for the trust. In Bahrain, I will be in a racing situation, with pit stops and starts, so it's even better! This will be a real plus.

What goals do you set for yourself?

I see all of this as a bonus, because I'm here to learn. Afterwards, I am a competitor and I always want to win. So I'm going to do everything in my power to do the best I can. But I don't put any pressure on myself. I will prepare both at ART Grand Prix with Christian Lundgaard and Marcus Armstrong, but also with HWA.
