Third consecutive pole for Russell
George Russell (ART GP) added a new pole position to its record in F2 on the Silverstone circuit. With a best time of 1'39''989, he is ahead by only seven hundredths Alexander albon (DAMS) despite dominating throughout the session.
The Charouz Racing System achieved their best performance in qualifying this season by occupying the second row with Antonio Fuoco and Louis Delétraz. The Pugs offer themselves the 3e line, Sergio Sette Câmara ahead Lando Norris.
Arjun Maini (Trident) ranks 7e ahead of Artem Markelov (Russian Time), the only one who was able to improve on the line. Luca Ghiotto (Campos) and Maximilian Günther (Arden) completed the top 10 in a session interrupted several minutes after the technical problem of Roy Nissany (Campos) encountered in the first ten minutes of driving.
