And the last pole position of the year goes to… Stoffel Vandoorne. The pilot Mercedes-Benz EQ set the best time on the Tempelhof track during the qualifying session. The Belgian crossed the finish line with a time of 1’15”468. He got ahead Sébastien Buemi (Nissan e.Dams) by 59 thousandths and René Rast (Audi) by more than two tenths.
Concerning the leaders of the ranking, things have not improved. Starting 22nd this Wednesday, champion António Félix da Costa (DS Techeetah) once again experienced a complicated session and did not take part in the fight for Super Pole.
The Portuguese ranked 19th just ahead of André Lotterer (TAG Heuer Porsche) and his teammate Jean-Éric Vergne, who brought up the rear on Wednesday. Poleman the day before, Oliver Rowland had much less success this time. The Nissan e.Dams driver was unable to make it through Q1 and will start dead last.
The start of the final e-Prix of the season will be at 19:00 p.m. (French time).
