Vergne triumphs in Berlin, da Costa and DS Techeetah champions!

The day after the victory of Maximilian Günther (BMW i Andretti Motorsports) in the German capital, Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Techeetah) showed himself the strongest. Beaten by his teammate at mid-race, the French driver did not rush and chose the right moment to take control of the event and win his first victory of the season. The Frenchman crossed the finish line ahead of his teammate António Félix da Costa and Sébastien Buemi (Nissan e.Dams). The Swiss who was aiming for victory failed to catch up with the leading duo despite good battery management.

Neck to neck throughout the race, Nyck de Vries (Mercedes-Benz EQ) and Oliver Rowland (e.Dams) complete the Top 5. They finish respectively 3,7 and 5,0 seconds behind the winner of the fourth e-Prix of the week, Jean-Éric Vergne.

Victorious at Tempelhof this Saturday, Maximilian Günther had a very different race this Sunday. Starting from the back of the grid after a complicated qualifying session, the local retired on the first lap after hitting the car by Oliver Turvey (Nio 333).

Thanks to the double obtained by Jean-Éric Vergne and António Félix da Costa in Berlin, the Chinese team DS Techeetah retains its constructors' title.

This week, the drivers will compete in the last two races of the season, also in Berlin. This time, the Tempelhof route will see a few turns and chicanes added.
