Will Power on pole for the Indianapolis GP

Team Penske looks untouchable in qualifyingIndyCar this season. Will Power won his third pole of the season at the Indianapolis GP, the road race held before the Indy 3, by completing the 500km track in 3,9'1''07. The 7044 champion, winner of the event in 2014, became the 2015th greatest pole-sitter in the discipline by signing the 5th pole of his career in IndyCar.

His teammates Helio Castroneves and Josef Newgarden were the closest, still finishing several tenths off the benchmark. Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) is the best of the rest, completing the second row of the grid. The New Zealander has never missed an entry in the final qualifying session this year.

The other Penske drivers remain at the forefront as Juan Pablo Montoya completes the top five on the grid, two places ahead of the Championship leader. simon pagenaud who won last month his first event on an oval in Phoenix (Arizona). Sebastian Bourdais (Dale Coyne Racing) completed the Fast 6 between the Colombian and the second Frenchman.
