There is now less than 1 month of waiting before the opening round of the 2023 World Championship in the Algarve, Portugal! Sunday March 26, the 22 players in the championship will set off for the first race of the season, but the first points of the year will have been awarded the day before, since Portimão will host the very first Sprint race in the history of the MotoGPMotoGP Sprint Races – Instructions

Before we look ahead to this first Grand Prix, here is a brief summary of the program for the coming weeks. Five teams have yet to unveil their new colors, starting with GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 on March 04, followed two days later by the Mooney VR46 Racing team and LCR Honda the next day. To end the week, Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales will lift the veil on the new Aprilia RS-GP.

On March 11 and 12, the Portuguese track of Portimao will host the last two days of pre-season tests. Finally, on March 16, one week before the first round, RNF Aprilia will have the task of closing the official presentations.

Friday March 3 the official website MotoGP will publish a new episode of MotoGP™ Stories. “The Resurrection of Ducati” traces the desert crossing experienced by the Bologna factory during the 15 years which separated Casey Stoner's title in 2007 and that of Pecco Bagnaia last year.
