The second stage of the Sainte Baume Rallycircuit started this morning from the Circuit Paul Ricard site. Three special stages were on the program for a total of 36,91 km timed.

Rally leader at the end of the first day on Friday, Nicolas Ciamin set the first best time of the day at the wheel of his Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo. He did it again in the next one, the longest of the day (Stainte Baume, 17,96 km) considerably increasing his lead. Fastest again in 3e section, he returned to the service park having opened up a significant gap (37″9) on his opponents.

If the young 23-year-old from Nice has isolated himself in the lead, the fight rages for the other steps of the podium. Second on Friday evening, Romain Dumas, plagued by clutch problems at the end of the loop this Saturday, was overtaken by Mathieu Arzeno at the start of the stage. The pilot of the Porsche made the power of his Porsche speak in Sainte-Baume and took back his property. However, he had to give it up againAlpine of Marseillais in the final ES. The two GTs are only separated by 8″2 and the match is far from over.

Winner in 2020, Stéphane Ciaramitaro who is 4e did not give up on the podium. Multiple winner of the event (7 victories), Richard Boursier is a little behind in 6e rank.
