Change of scenery this morning for the 55 crews at the start of this third day of the Sainte-Baume-Rallycircuit. After the classic special stages on Friday and Saturday around Gémenos and Aubagne, the competitors competed against each other on times set on the Paul Ricard circuit. Four sections representing 39 km were on the program.
Without taking any risks, Nicolas Ciamin started his Sunday by winning twice. With the 1'24″8 lead he has over Mathieu Arzeno, the driver of the Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo will be able to experience the end of rally calm. His runner-up and Stéphane Ciaramitaro retained their position on the podium.
Within the top five, the only uncertainty concerns the match between Antoine Leclerc and Richard Bourcier for the victory of 4e place. The Marseillais had ceded it to theAlpine before recovering it. Five short seconds separate the two men with two stages remaining.
