This week, Oliver Solberg announced that he was parting ways with Craig Drew, with whom he ultimately only competed in two rallies (Finland and Catalonia). The Swede decided to collaborate with the Englishman Elliott Edmondson. Driver's choice Hyundai can be understood by his desire to work with someone younger, Drew being 38 years old and Edmondson 27. The latter finds a seat in WRC after being dismissed by Gus Greensmith at the end of the Arctic last February.

With the game of musical chairs in full swing, Elliott Edmondson's new situation has left Andreas Mikkelsen without a navigator. In Italy, the recent champion ERC will trust Phil Hall… who was previously associated with Jon Armstrong in JWRC!

For his part, Gus Greensmith knew from Catalonia that he would have to look for a new teammate since Chris Patterson had told him that after Spain he would retire. For Monza, the Englishman M-Sport called on the Swede Jonas Andersson (44 years old) who has extensive experience in the WRC (165 starts) where he rode alongside Per-Gunnar Andersson, Mads Østberg, Pontus Tidemand and recently Ole Christian Veiby.
