Arriving in the lead with only 3 points ahead of his runner-up Jon Armstrong and 14 over Martins Sesks, Sami Pajari was not a favorite for the Junior WRC title. And yet, the Finn responded more than present by winning the rally and the title that goes with it.

Sami Pajari and his co-driver Marko Salminen took their second JWRC victory after winning the Estonian Rally earlier in the season.

« It's a great achievement, I don't know what to say, admitted the champion after his coronation. We can dream of these things but when they actually happen, it's difficult to achieve. » With such talent, the tradition of Finnish drivers in the WRC is not about to end.
