139 cars expected at Le Touquet

The entry list for the Rallye du Touquet, first round of the 2020 French Asphalt Rally Championship has been revealed. 139 cars are expected at the start.

Traditional kick-off of the asphalt season, the Rally du Touquet will be full in 2020 with 139 cars at the start of the first round of the French Asphalt Rally Championship.

The R5 category will obviously be where the big favorites for victory will be found with Yoann Bonato, double French champion in 2017 and 2018, who will seek his first victory in the event in the North with his Citroën C3 R5.

Among his most serious rivals, Stéphane Lefebvre (Volkswagen Polo R5 – Loeb Racing), winner at Le Touquet in 2018, Quentin Gilbert (Citroën C3 R5) or Quentin Giordano (Volkswagen Polo R5) should make the talk.

Eric Brunson will be lined up in his Ford Fiesta WRC, Jérémy Crétien being the other driver in a WRC (Citroën DS3). Note also the highly anticipated presence of Alpine A110 Rally, with François Delecour and Cédric Robert.
