After Sweden and Kenya, there was no third consecutive podium for Adrien fourmaux in Croatia. This time too close to be invited into the Top 3 composed by Sébastien Ogier, Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville, the Northerner even lost his 5e place on the last day during which he damaged his Ford Puma by hitting an anti-cut device on a bend.

If he reached the finish at 17e overall place more than 17 minutes behind the winner Sébastien Ogier, Adrien Fourmaux was able to show great things during the Croatian weekend. Particularly during the last outing with the best time in the Power Stage. A performance which allowed him to save the day with a reward of 5 points and to stay at 3e championship place (6 units ahead of Ott Tänak).

“An absolutely sensational performance”

In the ranks of M-Sport, where we are betting a lot on the Habs, the performance was greatly praised. The boss himself Richard Millener took the floor to congratulate his driver who he now sees capable of fighting at the front after complicated first experiences in the premier category.

« It was an absolutely sensational performance in the Power Stage and it proved to Adrien that he was more than capable of winning rallies, recognize the director of M-Sport. I'm really happy with the team's performance this weekend. We continue to maintain our good momentum over the last three rallies. I'm already looking forward to being in Portugal! » Perhaps the start of good things for the rest of the season...
