Second at “Charbo”, Hugo Margaillan (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) was incisive on the first specials of the Rally Antibes Côte d'Azur with two best times which allowed him to return to the service park as leader at the end of this first loop.
Author of the scratch in the longest special of the rally (Puget Théniers-Ascros-Toudon, 27,66 km), Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto), leader of the French Championship, is less than 4 seconds behind Margaillan and puts on the second passes to dislodge his CHL Sport Auto teammate from first place.
The Niçois Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) and Nicolas Ciamin (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) are engaged in a high-flying duel for the third step on the podium. The first city opened up a slight gap on its rival after the third special.
Nicolas Ciamin also led the Michelin Premium Trophy.
Placed in ambush, Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) is ready to catch the slightest mistake from the two drivers ahead of him.
