Forced to abandon the Heart of France last September after going off the road with his Citroën C3 Rally2, Éric Camilli still feels the consequences of this little mishap today. Although present at Rally of Antibes at the beginning of October, the 34-year-old from Nice will not be able to start the Criterium des Cévennes (October 28 to 31) due in particular to the budgetary impact generated by his incident.

« Sometimes you have to accept... With Minerva-Oil, PH Sport and Citroën Racing we wanted to be present at the Criterium des Cévennes, he wrote on his social networks. The release of Coeur de France has shaken up the plans quite a bit, particularly in terms of the budget. Despite our reactivity and our considerable efforts to participate in the Antibes rally, the time allowed between each race being very tight, we must obviously resolve to have to unfortunately give up taking part in this legendary Rallye des Cevennes. »

Focused on the end of the season where he is in 3rd place in the standings, 23 points behind leader Yoann Bonato, Éric Camilli hopes to return to the national roads for the Rallye du Var (November 25-28).
