Citroën partner of the French Junior Rally Championship

Created by the FFSA in 2011, the French Junior Rally Championship will negotiate the first significant turning point in its history next year. Citroën Racing will indeed become the partner of the FFSA.

Citroën partner of the French Junior Rally Championship

In 2014 and 2015, the French Junior Rally Championship will adopt a new look, the main features of which are:

– Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old.
– The candidates will drive a Citroën DS3 R1, as part of the Citroën Racing Trophy Junior. The calendar will consist of six rounds, all registered in the French Rally Championship.
– The driver to whom the FFSA awards the title of French Junior Rally Champion will take part, in year N+1, in the Citroën Racing Trophy which takes place on DS3 R3s.

The prize awarded to this French Junior Champion will consist of participation in:
– Four events of the French Rally Championship and two events of the French Rally Championship Rally Terre (i.e. the complete Citroën Racing Trophy program).
– The French round of the World Rally Championship (FIA WRC) as part of the Citroën Top Driver.
– The French Junior Champion will be able to claim victory and the final prizes of the Citroën Racing Trophy.
