In 2014 and 2015, the French Junior Rally Championship will adopt a new look, the main features of which are:
– Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old.
– The candidates will drive a Citroën DS3 R1, as part of the Citroën Racing Trophy Junior. The calendar will consist of six rounds, all registered in the French Rally Championship.
– The driver to whom the FFSA awards the title of French Junior Rally Champion will take part, in year N+1, in the Citroën Racing Trophy which takes place on DS3 R3s.
The prize awarded to this French Junior Champion will consist of participation in:
– Four events of the French Rally Championship and two events of the French Rally Championship Rally Terre (i.e. the complete Citroën Racing Trophy program).
– The French round of the World Rally Championship (FIA WRC) as part of the Citroën Top Driver.
– The French Junior Champion will be able to claim victory and the final prizes of the Citroën Racing Trophy.
