Citroën will “revive” the Youth Rally

Rally Young people, a detection operation set up by the FFSA, will experience a new youth. Indeed, Citroën has just announced a partnership with the FFSA to set up a program aimed at drivers aged 18 to 25 to prove themselves in the Citroën DS3. “With Sébastien Loeb et Sébastien Ogier entered in the World Rally Championship, Citroën makes young French people dream, who vibrate to the rhythm of their exploits,” confides Olivier Quesnel.

“With Rallye Jeunes, a concept developed by the FFSA, we will allow them to touch the dream, by offering them the opportunity to prove themselves behind the wheel of a DS3. For the most talented, the path is then traced all the way to the top. I would add that Rallye Jeunes is a fantastic marketing operation, because it will allow thousands of young people to go to Citroën dealerships and discover the world of our brand. »

It is from this 2011 season that the partnership between Citroën and the FFSA begins. Olivier Quesnel explains how things will unfold. “The sporting conditions are set by the FFSA, and within this framework, participants must be between 18 and 25 years old. Six regional stages in France will determine the best budding drivers who will qualify for a national final. The official launch of the operation should take place at the Rallye de France in October 2011 and the two winners will be offered a six-round program in the French Rally Championship. »
