Author of all the scratches during the first loop of four specials, Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) is the strong man of this first stage. The Niçois displays a big burst of speed before tackling the formidable final day with two special stages of more than 20 kilometers to be run twice.
Camilli also leads the Michelin Premium Trophy.

Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) quickly forgot the radio problem which penalized him at the start of the rally to finish the day in second place with a better time to his credit.

On the provisional podium, less than 12 seconds behind the leader, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) is satisfied with his first day and seems ready to launch a big attack for the second stage.

Present in Vendôme with a view to the next world events, Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia RS Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport) discovers the finesse of the new Skoda and places himself in ambush in fourth place in the provisional ranking after a scratch in the Vendôme Super Special.

The big attack

Despite great heat, at high speed, at the wheel of his 991 GT3 Cup, Anthony Cosson remains in the Top 5 of the rally. The pilot of the Porsche leads the 2-wheel drive ranking ahead of Raphaël Astier (A110 Rally-CHL Sport Auto) and Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Team Bonneton HDG), forced to change the gearbox of his Alpine in record time.
As a reminder, Anthony Cosson does not score any points in the French two-wheel drive Championship.

The fight promises to be hot! Indeed, Ludovic Godard (A110 Rally) has every intention of retaining control of the Trophy Alpine Elf Rally ahead of Pierre Roché (A110 Rally-Team FJ). The latter, local to the stage, had a tricky first day with various mishaps and is banking on the second stage to make up for his 23” deficit on Godard.

First leader of the Clio Trophy France, Arthur Pelamourgues (Clio Rally5) saw Benjamin Barnouin (Clio Rally5) supplant him at the end of SS 5. Barnouin took advantage of Pelamourgues' exit in SS 8 to have a short lead advances on his pursuers.

At the wheel of her Fiesta Rally3, Mireille Vidueira has established herself as the boss of the Women's classification.
