Kick-off of the Michelin Rallye Tour at the Côte Fleurie

Eight-time winner of the event, Éric Brunson is aiming for a 9th victory on the Normandy coast.

Considered LE rally At the start of the season in the Grand Ouest, the Rallye de la Côte Fleurie, first round of the Michelin Rallye Tour 2022, contested in the Pays d'Auge, mobilizes drivers from all walks of life. Éric Brunson, the record holder for victories (8), will have a hard time facing Pierre Ragues, winner in 2018 and new president of the Normandy League. The 2008 French rally vice-champion parted with his Fiesta WRC to sit in the passenger compartment of a Polo GTI R5. Stéphane Pustelnik, Marc Amourette, Thomas Chauffray, Xavier Lemonnier or Christophe Wilt could see themselves starting the season with a victory. The Côte Fleurie will be an opportunity for the leaders of the French Championship to practice for the first meeting at Le Touquet (March 17-19), Romain di Fante (Clio Rally4) and Léo Rossel (208 Rally4) will take advantage of the Normandy roads to refine their preparation. While he has planned a program in the R-GT World Cup with theAlpine A110 Rally, François Delecour (winner of the VHC edition in 2016) will discover the Clio Rally4 with Jean-Rodolphe Guigonnet.

With a 140,5 km course divided into 12 special stages and finished at night on Saturday evening, the Côte Fleurie rally retains its status as a selective and demanding event.
