Pointed 14,2 seconds behind Matthieu Margaillan (Fabia RS Rally2) at the start of this final day, Florent Todeschini (C3 Rally2) managed the four special stages of this second stage perfectly. The CHL Sport Auto driver won the four stages of this second stage to secure his second victory in CFR Terre. This first success of the year allows him to take control of the French Championship. Intractable on Saturday, Matthieu Margaillan was less comfortable on this second day and was “content” with a second place by less than a second.
Transformed trials
Laurent Pellier quickly found the instructions for his i20 N Rally2. Author of a scratch (SS 6), Pellier played the card of consistency to climb on the third step of the podium. Jean-Sébastien Vigion (C3 Rally2) discovered the C3 Rally2 and took a promising fourth place ahead of Pierre Ragues (Fabia RS Rally2).
