David Salanon won the Lyon-Charbonnières Rally for the 4th time in his career by winning ahead of the DS 3 R5s of Yohan Rossel and Yoann Bonato.

David Salanon wins the Lyon-Charbonnières Rally

David Salanon (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) signed his 4th victory at Rally Lyon-Charbonnières bereaved by the death of Anthony Perrin went off the road in the 3rd special.

The now four-time winner of the event took off following the puncture of Yoann Bonato (DS 3 R5) who finally completed the podium after losing to the other DS 3 R5 of Yohan Rossel. The latter snatched 2nd place by only 2”7 ahead.

Franck Lions (DS 3 WRC) finished just off the podium, ahead of Jérémi Ancian (Ford Fiesta R5) and Charles Martin (Peugeot 208 T16 R5). Patrick Rouillard (Porsche 997 GT3 Cup) se classe 7e devant Vincent Dubert (Skoda Fabia R5).

Efren Llarena won the 208 Rally Cup against Laurent Pellier, while Patrick Magnou completed the podium in the category.
