By signing his 11th success in 22 editions, Jean-Michel da Cunha can boast of having won half of the Rallies du Vallon de Marcillac. Created in 1999 by the stable Rally 12, the event was tragically interrupted in 2000 following a fatal accident, before resuming a year later. It is now organized by the ARVM (Association du Rallye du Vallon de Marcillac), chaired by Nicolas Théron who succeeded Joël Romiguiere. Regional rally until 2009, the Marcillac, as it is commonly called, became national coefficient 3 in 2010 and coefficient 4 in 2017, enough to satisfy its organizers who have never stopped improving their baby over the years . First rally of an Aveyron season which includes 8 (1 national, 4 regional and 3 French championships, including 2 dirt and 1 asphalt), the Marcillac is making its comeback, after two years of absence, due to the pandemic.
