Author of the first two scratch times this morning, including that in the long 28 kilometer special, Stéphane Lefebvre (C2 Rally3) finished the first loop of this second stage in the lead of the Final.
Unsurprisingly, Denis Millet (Polo GTI Rally2) is the only one to hold on to the leader, notably with a best time in SS 6, 0,2 seconds ahead of Lefebvre. With a delay of only 6,3 seconds on the C3 Rally2 driver at the start of the last three stages, Millet is well placed in ambush.
Installed on the third step of the provisional podium, Kevin Bochatay (Fabia Rally2) is 7,4 seconds behind Reunion driver Maxime Dupuis (C3 Rally2).
In the fight to play for a place on the podium with his Alpine A110 Rally, Ludovic Godard had to retire on SS 5 due to gearbox problems. Ludovic Jeudy, in addition to his leadership in the Group F2000, therefore inherits first place in the two-wheel drive ranking ahead of Jean-Sébastien Vigion, lacking edge with the Clio Rally4.
With a comfortable lead, François Thiebaut (Subaru Impreza) dominates Group N.
The drivers still have three special stages to compete (from 16:13 p.m.) before enjoying the finishing podium of the French Rally Cup Final.
