Jean-Marie Cuoq beats Maurin at the Rallye du Limousin

Le Rally du Limousin had offered a superb duel between Eric Brunson and Julien Maurin who were fighting for the lead of the event, a match closely followed by Jean-Marie Cuoq who followed at around ten seconds. But the appearance of the race changed on the second day when the driver of the Subaru Impreza WRC went off the road on SS9. Thanks to a superb scratch in the previous special, the Citroën C4 WRC driver took the lead to find himself in a direct fight with the winner of Lyon-Charbonnières. The reigning champion continued to win several points until he took advantage of his opponent's puncture to take off.

Julien Maurin had fallen to third position but the Ford Fiesta WRC driver managed to regain his position at the expense of Jean-Sébastien Vigion. The pilot of the Peugeot 207 S2000 can nevertheless be satisfied with his weekend since he climbed to the last step of the podium and won the Michelin Trophy. Jean-Charles Beaubelique (Ford Focus WRC) ranks fourth ahead of the Porsche 997 GT3 by Gilles Nantet. Cédric Robert finished sixth and won the Citroën Racing Trophy. Kevin Abbring followed in seventh and took the 208 Rally Cup victory. Eric Mauffrey (Nissan 370Z), Stéphane Lefebvre (Peugeot 208) and Jean-Nicolas Hot (Subaru Impreza) complete the top ten. Rémi Jouines held off Yoann Bonato to win the Opel Adam Cup with just two seconds ahead. Emmanuel Guigou wins the Trophy Renault Twingo R2.
