The FFSA awards the 2020 titles

Despite shortened calendars due to the coronavirus pandemic, the FFSA has decided to award the Asphalt and Gravel national titles in the French Rally Championship for 2020.

The Steering Committee held yesterday, Tuesday, November 24, ratified the decision, the possibility of sliding the championship over two calendar years having not been retained.

Yoann Bonato and Benjamin Boulloud (Citroën C3 R5), winners of the Rally du Touquet, du Mont-Blanc and du Coeur de France, the three events contested on asphalt, are thus crowned for the third time after 2017 and 2018.

Manu Guigou and Alex Coria, third at Mont-Blanc with the new Alpine A110 RGT, are crowned in the Two Wheel Drive ranking on asphalt.

Jean-Baptiste Franceschi and Florian Haut-Labourdette pocketed the Terre title with the Citroën C3 R5, Mathieu Franceschi being crowned in Two Wheel Drive.

Note that for promotion formulas, not awarding a national title, Peugeot Sport had already announced that the 2020 season would be blank for the 208 Rally Cup, while Renault Sport will organize the Clio Trophy final during Le Touquet 2021.
