Rally France – 40th Nancy Regional Rally

Forty years old is the beautiful age of this rally started in 1971 and which has undergone different journeys and several interruptions. But the passion of the successive organizers of ASA Nancy allowed each time to take up the torch. The idea always remains the same: to offer a regional rally as cheaply as possible for amateurs. David Claude (the young president of ASA Nancy, see box) and photographer Sylvain Henry (see box) in 2017, relaunched it after five years of hiatus. They are based on an original concept already widespread in Belgium. The special test of “the round of the two valleys”, to be completed three times, therefore consists of a loop to be completed twice (2 x 3,5 km) around Sivry (Meurthe-et-Moselle) before head towards the finish (5,5 km online) or around 13 km, which is the maximum in the region.
