Vigion's good move

With two best times this morning at Nayrac and Estaing, Jean-Sébastien Vigion has considerably reduced the gap which separated him from Guillaume Canivenq, still leader. Relegated to 26??2 this morning, the Limougeaud returned to 11??9 from the Aveyronnais when entering the Bozouls service before the last loop, 45 kilometers long, timed.

“I really attacked,” testified Vigion, former Espoir Echappement. “I want to put pressure on Canivenq. We had fitted two new tires at the front for this first loop and we still have two left to complete the rally »

Guillaume Canivenq admitted to not having given everything this morning: “I rode at a good pace without giving everything. I have bad memories of the long Estaing special. I didn't want to get trapped again. We know what Jean-Sébastien is capable of doing. It's up to us to react to maintain our lead. »

The Aveyronnais will take out his last two new tires for this last loop. Will the two Team Barroso Yacco drivers be tied on this point?
