The Al-Attiyah-Baumel duo departing from Terre d’Occitanie
Jean-Baptiste Franceschi, opening winner at Terre de Lozère, Thibault Durbec, Jordan Berfa, Loïc Astier... The main leaders of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship will be there next weekend in the second round of the 2020 season at Rally de Castine – Terre d’Occitanie.
On the event organized in the Lot, everyone will however have to count on the presence of a first-rate crew, with the winner of the 2019 Dakar and former WRC2 champion Nasser Al-Attiyah, associated with his usual co-driver Mathieu Baumel.
The tandem will be lined up on a Volkswagen Polo GTI R5, one of the 19 cars in the category present at the start of this event.
In the other groups and classes, note the presence of Mathieu Franceschi (Peugeot 208 Rally4) who comes off two victories in Lozère and Mont-Blanc, or even Florian Bernardi (Renault Clio Rally5).
