The Rallye du Touquet will not be contested in two weeks

Le French Asphalt Rally Championship will not start on the planned dates of March 18 to 20 Touquet – Pas de Calais. The organization of the first event of the year confirmed the news with a brief press release this Tuesday evening in the face of decisions to be taken in the coming hours by the authorities regarding the health situation.

As reported The voice of the North, the prefecture of the department has decided in favor of confinement for the next three weekends, therefore including the date of rally. Choices which will have to be validated at a higher level, logically tomorrow Wednesday.

A postponement to the weekend of April 8 to 10 was chosen by the organization.
