The Rallye du Var interrupted

Rallye du Var organizers have canceled the remaining stage two stages due to the conditions. Sébastien Loeb took the lead of the race.

The second stage of Rally du Var will only have included one special. The organizers have decided to cancel the 6 courses still to be contested due to the difficult conditions considered too dangerous.

Beaten by Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda Fabia R5) during the first stage, Sébastien Loeb took advantage of the 15,15km of the Gonfaron special to take the lead with a lead of 25 seconds over the Russian.

Yoann Bonato (Citroën C3 R5) reste sur le podium provisoire, tandis que Stéphane Sarrazin (Hyundai i20 R5) suit au 4e rang après avoir pris l’avantage sur Ole Christian Veiby (Hyundai i20 R5). Quentin Gilbert (Skoda Fabia R5) suit au 6e rang devant Éric Mauffrey (Skoda Fabia R5) et Raphaël Astier (Skoda Fabia R5).
