Rallye Terre des Cardabelles canceled after fatal accident
The sixth round of the 2019 season of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship near Cardabelles (Aveyron) was in mourning following a serious accident. A road exit occurred during the first special stage, Saturday October 12.
As specified by the French Motor Sports Federation (FFSA) via a press release and its social networks, the accident resulted in the death of one person and several injuries, “despite the presence of emergency services on site”.

The organization decided to stop the rally so that all necessary means could be provided to the victims. The FFSA presents its most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim. (2/2)

The event, the penultimate meeting of the National Championship campaign on dirt, was canceled by the organizers, “so that all necessary means are provided to the victims”, specifies the FFSA.
