The Rallye Terre resumes its rights in Lozère

If Germain Bonnefis has one more victory against Paul Chieusse, the regular results of the pilot of the Peugeot 307 WRC allow him to lead the Championship before the Rally Terre de Lozère which puts an end to a four-month break since the Spanish event which saw the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X of Noël Tron win. These three competitors will be there this week and will have to fight against the Subaru Impreza WRC of Dominique Bruyneel and the Group A teams of Alain Deveza and Serge Gillouin. Cédric Hennion (Citroën C4 WRC), François Lethier (Peugeot 206 WRC) and Hugues Lapouille (Impreza WRC) will also be ones to watch closely. The list of entrants will be completed by 16 drivers entered in the Volant 207 and 20 crews entered in the Citroën Racing Trophy.

The event route will offer a total of 355km including 149km timed spread over two stages on Saturday and Sunday. The first day will be contested towards Marvejols where a 24km long special will allow the competitors to make the difference. The second stage will take the crews to the Châteauneuf de Randon side where the courses will be wider but sandier.
