The sporting regulations slightly modified in the French Championship for 2021

While the Rally du Touquet which should mark the start of the 2021 season of the French Asphalt Rally Championship at the end of the month, the FFSA has decided to make a small modification to the CFR sporting regulations.

According to article 9.1, governing the championship classification, the drivers entered, both in the general classification and Two Wheel Drive or Women's, will no longer automatically score points thanks to their eight best results but according to the following scheme:

– from 6 to 9 rallies organized: total results minus 1 result

– less than 6 rallies organized: full results.

This scale will also apply to co-drivers in the general classification and Two Wheel Drives. A modification adopted via an e-vote by the Steering Committee on April 21, and which potentially anticipates other overhauls of the calendar, the asphalt section having notably lost the Lyon-Charbonnières.
