After the 2021 edition, the Auto Sport du Haut-Lignon Team launched a consultation via social networks. At the end of this, two major new features saw the light of day this year with the creation of the 1st rally VHC of Haut-Lignon. As for the Modern edition, the event innovated by offering one of the longest special stages that a national rally can offer. With 28,5 km, Mazet-Saint-Voy took up the entirety of Les Moulins, but it was extended from Saint-Jeures to arrive at the “La Marette” crossroads, in Yssingeaux. It was shaping up to be a monument to the rally and the competitors were unanimous, praising the audacity and dynamism of the organizers.
