Lionel Baud wins the Rallye Terre des Cardabelles

Lionel Baud (DS 3 WRC) won the Rally Terre des Cardabelles after having resisted the attacks of Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) who had come back to within a dozen seconds of the leader before going off the road in the penultimate special in Vezins (Maine-et-Loire).

Julien Maurin (DS 3 WRC) took second place, finishing 1'39 behind the winner. Jordan Berfa (Hyundai i20 R5) completed the podium more than two minutes from the lead of the race and consolidated his position as leader of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship by increasing his lead to 16 points against Arnaud Mordacq (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), fifth in the event behind Cyrille Feraud (Citroën C4 WRC) and winner of Group N.

 

 

Karl-Alexandre Pinheiro wins the 208 Rally Cup by taking seventh in the general classification, more than three minutes behind the Citroën Xsara WRC of Gilles Ségales. The category victory was close since Taisko Lario only fell 1”5 from first place.

The podium of the 208 Rally Cup is completed by Laurent Pellier who completes the top ten, seven tenths behind the DS 3 WRC of Thibault Durbec. Pellier secured the category title at the end of the first stage.

Loïc Astier (DS 3 F3) wins in 2 Wheel Drive by taking 15th place. Jean-Baptiste Franceschi (Ford Fiesta R2) completed the top 20 by finishing first Junior after securing the category title the day before.
