Lionel and Lucie Baud titled, Thibault Durbec winner in Vaucluse

Solid leader last night at the end of the first stage, Thibault Durbec (Citroën DS3 WRC) controlled the proceedings this Sunday with all-time scratches to win the Terre du Vaucluse, the final round of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship.

But it was Lionel and Lucie Baud (Citroën DS3 WRC) who were the big winners of the weekend, being crowned 2019 French champions.

Thomas Baudoin hoists his Citroën C3 R5 into fourth position ahead of Lionel Baud, a fifth place sufficient to take the 2019 crown after transmission problems on Saturday which had rejected the Citroën DS3 n°1 to eighth place after the opening stage.

Baud thus succeeds Sylvain Michel for his first national coronation in the discipline.
