Loeb flies over the Rallye des Vosges

Sébastien Loeb easily dominated the first stage of the Rally des Vosges Grand Est. Avec sa Hyundai i20 WRC who is carrying out a full-scale test session, the Alsatian has a lead of more than 2 minutes at the end of the first 6 courses.

In the fight for the championship, Yoann Bonato performs the best operation on his Citroën C3 R5. The latter is in second place, winning for the moment his duel against the other C3 R5 of Yohan Rossel, whom he is only 6 seconds ahead of.

Quentin Gilbert went off the road on the 2nd special, forcing the marshals to cancel the route. The championship leader confirmed he was unharmed following his hospitalization. On the other hand, his Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 suffered heavy damage.

William Wagner (Volkswagen Polo R5) is in 4th place, half a second ahead of Nicolas Ciamin (Skoda). Quentin Giordano (Hyundai i20 R5) follows in 6th place ahead of Raphaël Astier (Hyundai i20 R5). The Skodas of Sylvain Michel and Éric Mauffrey complete the Top 10.
