Back on the French Championship calendar since 2018, the Castine quickly established itself as one of the most demanding events, leaving little room for small errors. In these conditions, the single reconnaissance pass, carried out earlier in the morning, is crucial for confidence.

As during the Terre des Causses (April 1-3), three drivers stood out at Castine: Matthieu Margaillan (Fabia R5), Mathieu Franceschi (Fabia Rally2 Evo) and Florent Todeschini (Fiesta Rally2).
