4 Wheel Drive Winners – Marc Amourette and Paul Durame (Citroën C3)

Already winner of a Michelin round Rally Tour at the start of the season on the Côte Fleurie specials, Marc Amourette had every intention of once again scoring as many points as possible at the wheel of his C3 Rally2. Scattered rain on the Normandy coast forced the drivers to make the right decisions when leaving the service park.

The range of Michelin tires for the Rally2 allowed Marc Amourette to opt for the right options in order to exploit the full potential of his Citroën. “ Tire choices will make the difference », blurted the Norman at the start of the last loop. The soft tires gave Amourette all the confidence he needed to score his second victory in the Michelin Rallye Tour.

2WD winners – Dorian Deslandes and Léa Pustelnik (Peugeot 208)

On fast roads and wet in places after showers, two-wheel drive drivers had to find the right compromise to quickly warm up their tires without saturating them at the risk of losing all their grip potential.

The super soft/soft and super soft/rain combinations allowed the drivers to have good sensations, especially Dorian Deslandes who quickly entered the Top 10, among more powerful cars. Deslandes took the opportunity to score his first victory in the 2023 Michelin Rallye Tour in addition to a third success in the Rally4 Class.
