Milano Racing launches the MR 500X R4

A new car based on the R4 kit developed by Oreca will feature in the special stages of rally. Milano Racing, a tuner located on the heights of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), is about to launch the MR 500X R4 based on the Fiat 500X, the first runs of which are planned for the fourth quarter.

Milano Racing was motivated by the decision of the French Motor Sport Federation to make the R4 eligible for the French Rally Cup, the French Terrestrial Rally Championship and the second division of the French Tarmac Rally Championship from 2019 The MR 500X R4 will be prepared mainly for the French Terrestrial Rally Championship but also for theERC. The first deliveries are scheduled for early next year.

“It is the first French team to enter the R4 category. We are neighbors and we have followed the rise of the Canavese family team. After the decisions of the FFSA in favor of the R4 kit on national territory, we are convinced that this first collaboration will lead to many others”, comments Jean-Philippe Eddaïkra, the commercial director of the Oreca Group.
