Pierre Ragues returns to rallying

Pierre ragues will return to the rally scene this weekend with his usual Skoda Fabia R5, lining up at the start of the Rally of Saint-Germain-la-Campagne in the French Rally Cup. Le Cannais will be joined by his faithful teammate Julien Pesenti with whom last May he won a superb overall victory at the Mezidon-Canon Rally.

This return to a road event after a recent presence at the highest level in WEC (and a podium at Le Mans in LM P2 with Signatech Alpine), will take place over seven special stages spread over the two days, starting on Saturday evening with the 4,5 km of the first special. The field will be very tough, with no less than 140 competitors at the start, a great playground to rediscover a discipline that Pierre particularly likes.

Beyond the victory at the recent Mezidon Rally, the Norman had already distinguished himself during the legendary Rallye de la Côte Fleurie at the start of the season and during the opening round of the French Rally Championship at Rally du Touquet.

It's been a few months now since I last got behind the wheel of the Fabia and we will therefore have to get back into the rhythm on Saturday evening during the first special before the six ES on Sunday. The competition is always very keen, which makes the competition very open.
