Pieter Tsjoen from start to finish

Pieter Tsjoen (Ford Focus WRC) wins the 50th Rally du Touquet, less than six months after his last victory on the roads of the Côte d'Opale. Leader from the second special, the Belgian continued to increase his lead throughout the timed sectors, while his opponents lost time on several occasions. Author of fifteen best times, Tsjoen has never trembled. “ This was the rally I had to win to start the season, comments the Belgian Champion. This is where I should be most comfortable because it suits me the most. We started this French Championship really well. »

Between Tanghe and Neuville, two French people put in a good performance. Thomas Barral (Abarth Grande Punto S2000) finished on the podium while Manu Guigou (Renault Clio R3) takes first place in two-wheel drive.

In the Teams championship, GPC Motorsport Motul, titled in 2009, and the 2HP Compétition Veloperfo.com team leave with 18 points each.
