His return has been a dream of motorsport enthusiasts for many years. L'Alpine A110 Rally, long hoped for by those nostalgic for the French brand, carried out its first dynamic tests in August.

The blue car is roaming the small roads of the French West this week; supervision is entrusted to Team FJ and development ensured by Signatech. Several drivers of various profiles (professionals, gentlemen drivers, young and experienced) take turns on board, with the aim of gathering as much information as possible before its approval scheduled for the end of 2019.

THEAlpine A110 Rallye, officially announced by the manufacturer owned by the group Renault in May 2019, is developed by the company Signatech, already to the author of the GT4 version and Cup in 2018. The engine is taken from the standard S version and delivers 300 horsepower. The weight must be contained at 1 kg despite the safety devices required by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

Rally fans can check off the weekend of September 5-7, 2019 if they want to admire theAlpine A110 Rally. A copy will in fact serve as opening car during the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine (Haute-Savoie) in the hands of a pilot adept at aggressive trajectories: Emmanuel Guigou.

THEAlpine A110 Rallye entrera en rivalité avec les Abarth 124 Rally et autres Porsche 911 GT3  dès début 2020, date à laquelle elle sera homologuée pour la catégorie R-GT, tant au niveau de la FIA that of the French Motor Sport Federation (FFSA).
