Global program and high targets for Fourmaux in 2019

Adrien fourmaux continues its progress. The 2018 French Junior Rally Champion will have the chance to tackle the world level, with a full season in WRC 2 on a Ford Fiesta R5 prepared by M-Sport. The 23-year-old young man benefits for the occasion from the reinforced support of the French Motor Sports Federation (FFSA), which integrated him into his French FFSA team Rally 2019. 

 

In addition to its global program (which will begin at Monte-Carlo between January 24 and 27), Adrien Fourmaux changes co-driver. He will now have as a partner Renaud Jamoul, holder of a title in WRC 3 and JWRC in 2015, at the time with Quentin Gilbert.

« Several objectives already await our hope tricolor, indicates Nicolas Deschaux, President of the FFSA, starting by reaching the finish of the Monte-Carlo Rally, discovering all the requirements of the World Rally Championship and finally learning to work with his new co-driver, Renaud Jamoul. 

The National Coach of the FFSA Rallye, Nicolas Bernardi, is aware of the task to be accomplished. “Adrien will discover the World Rally Championship where each event is a completely new experience since no round is the same. He will have to overcome pitfalls, combine performance and reliability and finally fight to prove all his talent. »

To perfect your learning, Adrien Fourmaux will discover two Scandinavian events, not entered in WRC 2 : Sweden (with a Ford Fiesta R2) and the Autoglym Rally (Finland). THE Rally du Touquet finally appears on the program.

– August 1-4: Rally Finland (R5)
– August 22-25: Rally Germany (R5)
– October 2-6: Rally Wales (R5)
– October 23-27: Rally of Spain (R5)
