Yoann Bonato concluded the first stage of the Rallye Coeur de France in the lead. The Team CHL driver is battling with Pierre Roché.

Rally – Bonato in the lead at the Heart of France

Yoann Bonato (DS 3 R5) completed the first stage of the Rally Heart of France by occupying first place. Despite contact with a bale of straw in the first special which damaged a rim, the leader of the French Rally Championship remained on the attack to have a dozen seconds lead over his closest rival, Pierre Roché (Ford Fiesta WRC).

Quentin Giordano (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the provisional podium even though he is almost half a minute from the lead of the race. He nevertheless has a similar gap against Charles Martin (Skoda).

 

 

Marc Amourette (DS 3 R5) is on the outskirts of the top five behind the Porsche Anthony Cosson's 997 Cup after being slowed down by mechanical problems. He has a few seconds ahead of Eric Brunson's Fiesta WRC who lost around a minute following an exit on SS5.

Among the retirements, Jérôme Galpin (Fiesta WRC) dismounted in the first special following a road trip. Patrick Rouillard (Porsche 997 GT3 cup) also did not see the finish of the first course, betrayed by his mechanics.

In the Clio R3T Trophy, Cédric Robert flies towards the title, no longer worried by his rival Florian Bernardi who went off the road in the fifth special.
