Rally – Bouffier deprives Maurin of victory in Antibes

Bryan Bouffier claimed victory in the 49th Rally d’Antibes au volant de la Hyundai i20 WRC. The new recruit from the Korean manufacturer seemed on the verge of losing to the Fiesta WRC of Julien Maurin who had a one-minute lead, but the Championship leader was trapped by a storm while his opponent made a better choice of tires. The reigning French champion lost 22 seconds behind but still took the victory points.
