Rally – Cuoq, victory and title at Cardabelles

Despite his position as opener, Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) was above the rest in 31st Rally Land of the Cardabelles. The winner won with more than a minute ahead of Lionel Baud (Ford Fiesta WRC) who could do nothing to extend the deadline. “I am happy to be titled before the last event. We will be able to ride in Vaucluse (November 16) without pressure, just for fun. Next year, there is a good chance that I will be present in this Championship again? »

The podium is completed by the Skoda Fabia S2000 of Matthieu Margaillan who finally took the advantage over the Xsara WRC of Serge Gillouin slowed down by gearbox problems. Cyrille Féraud (Mitsubishi Lancer WRC) completes the top five but it is Gilles Ségales (Lancer Evo IX) who takes sixth place following the exit of Jean-Marc Falco (Evo IX).

Frédéric Hauswald won the Citroën Racing Trophy and 2WD with around ten seconds ahead of Cédric Robert. Cyril Audirac won the 208 Rally Cup five seconds ahead of Diogo Gago.
